novobanco Cultura brings together all its collections under a single concept. Its mission is to reflect its commitment to preserving, promoting and sharing our important cultural and artistic heritage. We therefore facilitate access to our various collections for the artistic community, students, researchers and the general public, both nationally and internationally.

We are encouraging national talent
Investing in national talent is part of our culture. This is an attitude that defines our identity and which we enhance by promoting artistic production, publicising it and supporting it through competitions and exhibitions.
novobanco Revelação - Photography award
This is an initiative by novobanco in partnership with the Serralves Foundation, which encourages the artistic production and creation of young talent. This is an initiative to encourage the emergence of new creators. It reinforces our strategy of cultural patronage in the area of photography, intervening in the community through innovative ways of stimulating art.
REFLEX - CAIS photography award | novobanco
Launched in 2007 as part of a partnership with the CAIS Association, this award aims to the valorise photography in Portugal, reinforcing and expanding the positive effects of a national artistic initiative that combines photography with socially significant issues.

Museu do Oriente Foundation
The Museu do Oriente is a space that seeks to provide a living memory of Asian cultures and the centuries-old relationship that has been established between East and West, mainly through Portugal. As patrons, we want to contribute to the creation and formation of new audiences, and stimulate the existing cultural offer.
Battle of Aljubarrota Foundation
The Battle of Aljubarrota Foundation was set up with the aim of valorising and honouring a part of Portugal's cultural heritage associated with the main battlefields in Portugal. As its main patron, we support its work by helping to preserve it.
